景德镇老城区中最重要的部分是景德镇御窑厂及其北部区域,因瓷而起,因瓷而兴,城市形态呈现“沿河建窑、沿窑成市”,瓷业遗迹众多,瓷业风韵犹存,代表了景德老城区的基本面貌,也是建设景德镇国家陶瓷文化传承创新试验区的重要载体。

The most important part of the old quarter of Jingdezhen is the Royal Kiln Factory and its northern part,which achieved its fame due to the porcelain here.The urban form reveals the old practice of building kilns along the river and building cities along the kilns.There are many relics of the porcelain industry here of which the charm still exists.They represent the basic profile of the ancient city of Jingdezhen and are an important carrier for the construction of innovation experimental zone for the national ceramic culture inheritance in Jingdezhen.
