Application of RFID technology in smart libraries:taking Library of Suzhou Campus of Renmin University of China as an example

文章先介绍了RFID技术和中国人民大学苏州校区图书馆使用RFID技术的基本情况;接着从编目处理、无人借还、盘点统计、安全防盗4个方面详细介绍了中国人民大学苏州校区图书馆基于RFID技术实现智慧图书馆的具体实践;然后从提高工作人员工作效率、便于读者借还书、有利于图书馆整体发展3个方面分析了中国人民大学苏州校区图书馆使用RFID技术实现智慧图书馆的效果;同时从成本和标签读取两个方面分析了RFID技术的不足;最后进行了总结,展望了智慧图书馆运用RFID技术的未来。

This paper first introduces RFID technology and the basic situation of using RFID technology in Library of Suzhou Campus of Renmin University of China.Then,it introduces the concrete practice of realizing the smart library based on RFID technology in this library in detail from the aspects of cataloguing processing,unchecked repayment,counting and security anti-theft.After that,it analyzes the effect of using RFID technology to realize the smart library in this library from three aspects of improving the working efficiency of the staff,facilitating the readers to repay books,and facilitating its whole development.Furthermore,the deficiency of RFID technology is analyzed from the two aspects of cost and tag reading.Finally,it summarizes the full text and describes the future of using RFID technology in smart libraries.
