The Research on Weng Fanggang's Theories on Confucian Classics and Epigraphy in the 21st Century:An Overview

20世纪80年代末至今约三十年间,翁方纲的诗学理论一直受到学界的重点关注。三十年间的前半期,翁氏诗学研究一枝独秀,其他方面的研究成果寥寥无几。三十年间的后半期,即21世纪以来,有关翁方纲诗学理论的研究成果仍然层出不穷,但是在其经学论著的整理与研究、金石学的研究等方面,也开始进展迅速,大量研究成果不断出现,形成了翁方纲研究的崭新格局。

In approximately 3 decades as of the end of 1980s,Weng Fanggang has aroused profound interest in academia with his poetic theory.In the first half of this period,researchers have made great achievement in their research on his poetic theory but only made scanty achievement in other aspects.In the second half,that is,as of the beginning of the 21st century,researchers have notched great achievement both in the research on his poetic theory and his study on Confucian classics and epigraphy,arousing significant attention in academia.With these achievements,these researchers have carved out a brand new prospect for the research on Weng Fanggang.
