计量之道:度量衡与早期中国政治哲学的展开——以礼法概念为中心

The Way of Measurement: The Relationship between Measurement and the Development of Early Chinese Political Philosophy——taking the concept of law and discipline rite as the focus

作为人类在社会生产实践过程中思维认知发展的成果,度量衡在促进社会生产实践发展的基础上,推动了人类思维认知尤其是计量思维的发展,并对早期中国国家治理内容的设置及人际关系的整合产生了重要的影响。同时,度量衡因其所具有的标准统一性、权力独占性等特点,成为建构早期中国礼法概念的一种意象原型,内化于中国礼法概念之中。而且,早期中国思想家普遍认为度量衡乃是"圣人循道"而治的产物,并在一定程度上将度量衡作为国家体制的象征性符号。从这一线索出发,可以发现荀子与黄老学说乃至法家的政治哲学之间展开的脉络。

As a result of human cognitive development in the process of social production practice,measurement not only promotes the development of social production practice,but also promotes the development of human thinking,especially the development of quantitative thinking.This thinking mode has an important influence on the setup of national governance and the integration of interpersonal relationship in the early period of China.At the same time,thanks to its characteristics of standard unity and exclusive power,measurement became an image prototype to construct the concept of early Chinese etiquette,and was internalized in the concept of Chinese etiquette.Moreover,the thinkers in early Chinese generally believed that the measurement was the product of the saint Methodist,and to some extent,they regarded that measurement as the symbolic symbols of the state system.Starting from this clue,people can find the unfolding thread between Xunzi、The Huang and Lao schools and the political philosophy of the Legalist school.
