摘要
国际化师资队伍建设是大学国际化进程中的关键环节,是对全球化挑战的政策回应。加州大学欧文分校通过国际化策略制定、国际化活动开展和国际化文化营造等行动,用不到60年时间跻身世界一流大学行列,值得发展中国家的大学院校效仿与借鉴。在策略方面,学校从扩张、卓越和合作三个方面开展国际化师资队伍建设;在活动方面,学校通过打造国际化课程体系推进教师的国际化参与;在文化方面,学校注重校园文化建设,营造多元文化及创新文化环境,彰显国际文化氛围。
The development of international faculty is an important part in the process of internationalization of universities and a strategic response to the challenges of globalization.UCI(University of California,Irvine)has been among the world′s top universities in less than 60 years through the formulation of international strategies,the development of international activities,and the creation of international culture.It is worthy of imitation and reference by universities in developing countries.In terms of strategy,the university actively builds its international faculty from three aspects including expansion strategy,excellence strategy and cooperation strategy.In terms of activities,the university has cultivated an international faculty by building an international curriculum system and actively promoting the international engagement of faculty.In terms of culture,the university attaches importance to the building of campus culture,creating a multicultural and innovative environment and highlighting the international cultural atmosphere.
