The Generation and Alienation Mechanism of Self-consciousness:Based on Cooley and Mead's Symbolic Interaction Theory

库利与米德认为,自我来源于人与“他者”之间有意义的符号互动。他们从实用主义的角度完成了自我意识的去先验化,并实现了自我观念由主客体二元对立到主体间性的转变。互联网时代重塑了社会交往的模式与途径,并在一定程度上导致了自我建构的异化。将库利与米德的自我意识理论导入当代社会语境,有助于更好地理解交往模式转变的内涵与逻辑,并实现自我异化状态的超越。

Cooley and Mead believed that selfhood comes from the meaningful symbolic interaction between oneself and“the others”.They have completed the de-transcendentalization of self-consciousness from the perspective of pragmatism,and realized the transformation of self-concept from the binary opposition between subject and object to intersubjectivity.The Internet age has reshaped the modes and ways of social interaction,and to a certain extent led to the alienation of self-construction.The introduction of Cooley and Mead's self-consciousness theory into the contemporary social context will help to better understand the connotation and logic of the transformation of the communication mode and realize the transcendence of the self-alienation state.
