高速铁路、技术创新与经济高质量发展——实证检验与机制研究

High-Speed Railway,Technological Innovation and High-Quality Economic Development——Empirical Test and Mechanism Research

基于高速铁路影响经济高质量发展的理论框架,利用2005—2018年中国286个地级市的面板数据,使用F?re-promont指数法测算了城市经济高质量发展及其分解指标,并采用双重差分模型分析了高铁开通对经济高质量发展的影响效应及其传导机制。研究结果表明:高铁开通整体上显著促进了经济高质量发展,其影响路径为对技术效率的促进作用;高铁开通对不同城市经济高质量发展的影响存在异质性,其中,高铁对东部地区城市、大城市、沿海城市、非资源型城市、省会城市、高等级创新能力城市和高等级教育水平城市的促进作用尤为显著;技术创新是高铁开通影响经济高质量发展的重要传导渠道。

Based on the theoretical framework of high-speed railway opening affecting high-quality economic development,this paper used the panel data of 286 prefecture-level cities from 2005 to 2018 and the F?re-promont index method to calculate the high-quality development of urban economy,as well as its decomposition indexes.Then we introduced the DID model to analyze the influential effect and transmission mechanism.The results showed that,the opening of high speed railway had significantly promoted the development of high-quality economy(TFP),and its influence paths were technical efficiency.There was heterogeneity in high-speed rail affecting high-quality economic development,and the promoting effect was more obvious in the cities located in western regions,medium-sized cities,inland cities,resource-based cities,non-provincial capital cities,the cities with lower level of innovation capacity and the cities with higher education level.Furthermore,technological innovation was an important transmission channel in this relation.
