江苏常州金坛方山土墩墓D2发掘简报

Excavation of the Earthen Mound Burial D2 in Fangshan, Jintan, Jiangsu Province

江苏金坛薛埠镇方山土墩墓群的D2为"一墩多墓"类型土墩墓,时代为春秋中晚期。墩内发现墓葬5座、器物群10处、灰坑1座。主墓为石棺床木椁墓,出土一批陶器、硬陶和原始瓷器。此次发掘为研究江南土墩墓的形制结构和丧葬习俗提供了新材料。

D2 is one of the two earthen mound burials located in Fangshan, Xuebu Town, Jintan, Jiangsu province dating to the middle and late time of the Spring and Autumn period. It falls into the category of"one mound with multiple tombs". A total of 5 tombs, 10 objects clusters and 1 ash pit were discovered in the mound. The leading tomb is equipped with a stone tomb bed and a wood outer coffin. A number of potteries, hard potteries and proto-porcelain wares were unearthed. The excavation provides new materials for the study of the form and structure of earthen mound burials and the funerary customs in Jiangnan area.
