城乡二元文化的对抗与交融:历史视野下的泰国“田园民谣”

The Conflict and Integration between Urban and Rural Cultures: A Study on “Phleng Lukthung”from Historical Perspective

“田园民谣”是20世纪60年代开始在泰国社会兴起的一种新式民歌形式,是一种极富泰国特色的泰式音乐类型,风靡泰国的城市乡村,特别是深受广大农民的欢迎。它的艺术表演形式融合了泰国的乡村文化、城市文化和西方文化的特征,在泰国众多文艺类型中独树一帜。它是泰国小农社会发展与工业化开发矛盾的产物,也是泰国城乡文化冲突与融合的结果,具有鲜明的时代特征。本文认为,从历史的维度对“田园民谣”这一文化事象的起源进行考察,有助于我们透过这一文化事象,更好地理解和观察泰国20世纪中期经历的巨大时代变化。

“Phleng Lukthung”,a kind of new folk song style which has emerged since the 1960s in Thailand,is a Thai musical genre with unique Thai feature.It is populart hroughout Thailand’s urban and rural areas,particularly welcomed by the majority of farmers.It is unique among many Thai literary and artistic types,for its combination of Thailand’s rural culture,urban culture and the characteristics of Western culture.It is the outcome of the contradiction between the social development of small farmers and the development of national industrialization in Thailand,and also a result of the conflict and integration of Thailand’s urban and rural culture,with distinctive characteristics of the times.To study the origin of Phleng Lukthung from a historical perspective will assist us in better understanding and observing the great changes of the times experienced in Thailand in the mid-20th century through this cultural issue.
