Achievements and Experiences of Socialist Construction in Laos Since Its Reform and Opening-up

自1975年12月2日成立以来,老挝人民民主共和国在老挝人民革命党的领导下开始探索建设社会主义。自1986年开始革新以来,老挝人民革命党始终坚持特色社会主义方向,坚持把马克思主义基本原理与老挝实际相结合,坚持以马克思列宁主义和凯山·丰威汉思想为指导,坚持以经济建设为中心,坚持党的自身建设,不断学习和借鉴其他国家的成功经验,形成了老挝本土化的社会主义理论、制度和实践模式,老挝社会主义建设取得了成就,积累了宝贵经验。

Since its establishment on December 2,1975,the Lao People’s Democratic Republic,under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party(LPRP),has been exploring the building of socialism.Since the reform and opening-upbegan in 1986,the LPRP has always adhered to the direction of socialism with distinctive features,combined the basic principles of Marxism with the actual situation of Laos,and guided by the ideology of the Marxism-Leninism and Kaysone Phomvihane.With the economic construction as the center task and the party’s self-improvement,Laos has constantly learned from the successful experience of other countries,developed a localized socialist theory,system and practice mode,made achievements in socialist construction and accumulated valuable experience.
