摘要
《共产党宣言》(以下简称《宣言》)首个中文全译本于1920年问世。百年来,多个汉译本见证了不同时期国人如何阐释《宣言》思想内涵,也蕴含着马克思主义经由翻译不断推进其中国化传播的历史进程。概念译名是思想翻译及意义建构的核心体现,凝聚了社会语境诉求及翻译主体规划的历时变迁。本文基于《宣言》七个代表性译本的历时梳理,对比分析《宣言》中以“幽灵”“资产者/无产者”“所有制/私有制”“祖国/民族”等为代表的核心概念译名及意义演变,并结合不同译本的翻译策略及动因,探析百年来《宣言》概念译名在中国的变迁脉络及时代内涵。
Since its first complete Chinese version published in 1920,Manifesto of the Communist Party in China in the past hundred years has witnessed various interpretations of its thoughts at different times and represented the historical process of the Marxism localization in China.The interpretation of terms and notions is the core embodiment of ideological translation,reflecting the diachronic changes of social demand and translators’planning.This paper concerns itself with comparative analysis of the changes of the translation of key terms including spectre,bourgeois and proletarians,property/private property,and country/nation,etc.and their relevant connotations in Manifesto of the Communist Party based on seven Chinese versions in the past century,and analyzes the translation strategies and motivations of different versions to reveal the changes and significance of the translation of key terms in Manifesto of the Communist Party in China.
