Textual Research in Folk Characters of Zen Buddhism Literature

禅宗文献为数众多的俗字尚未引起研究者足够的重视。文章揭举十余则疑难俗字,采用排比归纳、异文佐证等方法,辨形证义,初步展示禅籍俗字研究的价值,结论也有助于禅宗文献整理和大型语文辞书的修订。

The numerous folk characters in Zen buddhism literature have not attracted enough attention from researchers.The article reveals eleven complicated folk characters,adopting parallel,inductive and variation contrast("排比归纳"“异文佐证”)methods to analyze the form and verify meanings.In order to display the value of researching folk characters in Zen books preliminarily,and the conclusion not only has contributed to arrange Zen buddhism literature but also helps to revise large-sized Chinese dictionary.
