Construction of AER Teaching Model for the Textual Coherence in English Writing Based on Formative Assessment

将形成性评价的指导思想运用到英语写作连贯教学过程中,建立教、学、评三位一体的语篇连贯AER教学模式,即Appreciation(连贯语篇分析)、Evaluation(学生英语习作语篇连贯评价)与Revision(语篇连贯问题修正),以帮助学生认识语篇连贯,正确评价英语习作中存在的语篇连贯方面的问题,提供较高质量的教学反馈,从而提高语篇建构能力。

Formative assessment is applied in teaching of coherence in English writing,based on which the AER teaching model,short for Appreciation,Evaluation and Revision,is established.The present study aims to help students recognize textual coherence and properly evaluate the problems in the coherence of English writing,which will provide quality teaching feedback,so as to improve the construction of coherence.
