参与全球价值链对行业内工资差距的影响及其机制研究

Effect of participation in global value chain on the wage gap within the industry and its mechanism

基于WIOD数据库及WWYZ方法,测算了1995—2009年中国13个主要制造业行业全球价值链参与度,从理论和实证角度分析了嵌入全球价值链对行业内劳动工资差距的影响。研究发现:中国制造业的价值链参与度总体上呈现“先升后降”的趋势,且转折点在2006年前后;中国制造业参与全球价值链会显著扩大行业内劳动收入差距;在引入全要素生产率作为中介变量后,发现中国制造业通过参与全球价值链获得生产率的提升进而扩大高、低技能劳动力工资差距的传导机制。

Based on the WIOD database and WWYZ method,This paper calculates the global value chain participation index of 13 major manufacturing industries in China from 1995 to 2009,and analyzes the impact of embedding in GVC on the wage gap between different skilled labor from theoretical and empirical perspectives.It shows that the GVC index of China's manufacturing industry presents a rises first then falls trend with its turning point around 2006.The participation of China's manufacturing industry in GVC will expand the wage gap of different skilled labor.After introducing TFP as a mediating variable,we find transmission mechanism that China's manufacturing industry gains productivity improvement by participating in GVC and then expands wage gap between high and low skilled labor.
