This article studies the application of the planetary roller extruder in the rubber mixing process.The planetary roller extruder has a small volume and a very large contact surface area.The small volume increases the operating and environmental safety factor,while the large contact area ensures complete mixing under high-speed transportation.The Mooney viscosity,strain modulus,and loss modulus of the compound dispersed by planetary rollers are relatively low.At the same time,the Phillips dispersion grade is higher than or equal to the internal mixing process.
