Tibetan medicine has a long history of inheritance,a medical diagnosis and treatment system with distinctive ethnic characteristics.“Food,health,medicine,and external treatment”are the four methods of Tibetan medicine to treat diseases.Among them,external treatment has the characteristics of simple operation,rapid curative effect,no toxic side effects,and wide clinical application.It ishighly praised by famous Tibetan doctors in the past and deserves further development.Excavate,sort out and study its characteristics in depth to make it better in clinical applications.
