Summary of the experience of GUANs’acupuncture academic school prominent TCM doctor GUAN Zun-hui in treatment for children’s cerebral palsy

文章总结管氏针灸学术流派名老中医管遵惠治疗小儿脑瘫的经验。管遵惠教授认为,本病病机为先天禀赋不足和后天失养有关,治疗以开窍养心、益智醒脑、填精益髓、调补肝肾、强筋壮骨为主。在针灸选穴上大胆创新,独树一帜,采用管氏舌针为主,配合管氏益脑十六穴、体针综合治疗,对配方组穴从进针方向、深度、手法和刺激量及留针时间均做出了明确的规定,并创新总结出管氏婴幼儿补泻手法,临床上重视望诊和指纹相结合,辨证用药精确独到。在治疗小儿脑瘫取得了显著疗效,其经验值得推广应用。

The article summarized the effective treatments for children’s cerebral palsy based on the experience of the eminent acupuncturist GUAN Zun-hui of GUANs’acupuncture academic school.According to professor GUAN Zun-hui,children’s cerebral palsy was related to congenital deficiency and improper postnatal healthcare.Treatments should mainly aim to induce resuscitation,nourish heart,conduce to intelligence,restore consciousness,build up energy,nourish marrow,adjust liver,improve kidneys,and strengthen muscles and bones.Professor GUAN was creative and unique in acupuncture points-choosing.He applied tongue needle therapy of GUAN family as the major treatment.Meanwhile,the therapy of sixteen acupuncture points for restoring consciousness and the comprehensive therapy based on body needles were applied as the supplementary therapies.His treatments clearly stipulated the directions of needles,the depth of needles,the skills of applying needles,the quantity of stimulation and the time of remaining needles for prescribed acupuncture points.He summarized reinforcing and reducing manipulations for infants.He focused on the integration of observing diagnosis and fingerprint diagnosis in clinical treatments.His dialectical prescription was accurate and unique.His therapies have been working well on the treatment of children’s cerebral palsy.Therefore,professor GUANs’treating experience is worth spreading.
