Origin and development of pathogenic toxin theory in tumor treatment and its fundamental diagnosis

从毒邪论治是肿瘤治疗的核心问题之一,文章系统梳理了毒邪理论治疗肿瘤的源流:秦汉时期是毒邪学说论治肿瘤的萌芽期,晋隋唐宋时期大致构建了毒邪学说的框架,明清时期进一步认识到外感疫毒这一因素,现代以来多位医家提出"癌毒"这一概念。恶性肿瘤的治疗应在扶正祛邪的总体治疗原则下,特别重视毒邪这一重要病理因素。文章根据毒邪在恶性肿瘤发生发展过程中的证素、证候特征、病机规律等,阐述了扶正祛毒、清热解毒、理气排毒、祛瘀化毒、化痰散毒、祛风摄毒、泄浊解毒、安邪休毒、灭虫化毒、以毒攻毒10种抗肿瘤的辨治法则,同时结合现代科学研究成果,逐步完善从毒邪论治恶性肿瘤的理论体系和框架结构。

Pathogenic toxin theory is one of the core issues in tumor treatment.This paper systematically reviewed the origin and development of the pathogenic toxin theory in tumor treatment:the Qin and Han dynasties were the emerging stage of the pathogenic toxin theory.In the Jin,Sui,Tang and Song dynasties,the framework of the pathogenic toxin theory was roughly constructed.During the Ming and Qing dynasties,the disease affected by exogenous epidemic pathogenic factor was further realized.Since modern times,the concept of’cancer toxin’has been put forward by many doctors.The treatment of malignant tumor should be based on the general treatment principle of strengthening the body resistance to eliminate pathogenic factors,and the important pathological factor of toxin and pathogen should be emphasized.According to the syndrome elements,syndrome characteristics and pathogenesis law of toxin in the occurrence and development of malignant tumor,this paper elaborated the principle of differentiation and treatment for 10 antitumor therapies,including strengthening the body resistance to eliminate pathogenic factors,clearing away heat and toxic material,regulating the flow of vital energy and expelling toxin,removing blood stasis and removing toxin,resolving phlegm and resolving masses,dispelling wind and clearing away cold,discharging turbid and detoxifying,calming pathogenic factors and eliminating toxin,killing insects and disintoxicating,fighting poison with poison.At the same time,combined with the results of modern scientific research,gradually improve the framework of the theoretical system of treating malignant tumor with pathogenic toxin theory.
