摘要
模场直径和有效面积作为单模光纤光学性能特征参数,在光纤检测过程中占有极其重要的地位。本文介绍了采用可变孔径法测量单模光纤模场直径(MFD)和有效面积(Aeff)的测试方法,并对测试数据进行有效处理,使测试结果更加精确、有效。
The mode field diameter and effective area are the characteristic parameters of single-mode fiber optical performance,which play extremely important roles in the fiber inspection process.This paper introduces the test method for measuring the mode field diameter(MFD)and effective area(Aeff)of a single-mode fiber basing the variable aperture method.The test data is also effectively processed,and the test results are more accurate and effective.
