超长商业盘长光纤的测试方法研究

摘要 为适应光缆超长距离传输(如洲际海缆,国际远程陆地光缆干线等等)及光缆的激烈成本竞争,超长商业盘长光纤(本文为交货盘长75km、100km的光纤)应运而生。相比传统的25km、50km商业盘长光纤,超长盘长对生产的过程控制要求更高,生产的难度更大。由于长度的倍数增长,光纤部分性能的检测受限于检测设备能力的局限性。本文以100km光纤检测为研究对象,提出对具有挑战性检测难度的重要指标测试的应对方案,如光纤的衰减端差、衰减的均匀性等性能,使超长盘长光纤的质量控制得以保证。 In order to adapt to the ultra-long distance transmission of optical cable(such as intercontinental sea cable,international long distance land cable trunk and so on)and the fierce cost competition of optical cable,the ultra-long commercial optical fibre length spool(this paper refers to the optical fiber with the delivery fibre length spool of 75km,100km)came into application.Compared with the traditional 25km,50km commercial fibre length spool,the ultra-long fibre length requires higher production process control and is more difficult to produce.Due to the multiple growth of length,the test of part of the performance of optical fiber cannot be carried out due to the limitation of equipment function.This paper takes 100km length optical fiber testing as an example to study the testing methods of important characters with challenging testing difficulty,such as attenuation end difference,attenuation uniformity,polarization mode dispersion and other properties of optical fiber,so as to ensure the quality control of ultra-long optical fiber.
