“甘棠梦”是指《绿野仙踪》这部小说中温如玉这一人物在主人公冷于冰的帮助下进入梦境经历了三十余年人生浮沉,梦醒之后参透真理并成功悟道的故事。这一叙事单元一方面是直接化用“黄粱梦”故事原型而创作的,形式和内容上都显示出鲜明的原型特征;另一方面具有其自身的独特性,即对原型的置换变形,并且从生理、心理和文化三个维度上考察,“甘棠梦”故事都显现出一定的原型意义。

“Gantang dream”refers to the story of Wen Ruyu,a character in the novel The Wizard of Oz,who entered the dream with the help of the protagonist cold in ice and experienced more than 30 years of life floating and sinking,after waking up to understand the truth and successfully understand the Tao.On the one hand,this narrative unit is created directly with the prototype of the story of“Huang Liang Dream”,which shows distinct archetypal characteristics in form and content.On the other hand,it has its own uniqueness,that is,the replacement deformation of the prototype.From the physical,psychological and cultural dimensions,“Gantang dream”shows a certain archetypal significance.
