Association between p53 Arg72Pro polymorphism and esophageal cancer: a meta-analysis

目的应用Meta分析的研究方法探讨p53 Arg72Pro基因多态性与食管癌发病风险的相关性。方法使用中国知网(CNKI)、万方、维普、Pubmed及OVID等数据库进行文献检索,共27篇涉及p53 Arg72Pro多态性与食管癌相关性的文献被纳入本研究,并使用STATA 14.0软件进行meta分析。结果在等位基因模型(Pro vs Arg,OR=1.19,95%CI:1.08~1.30)、隐性模型(Pro/Pro vs Pro/Arg+Arg/Arg,OR=1.29,95%CI:1.11~1.50)、显性模型(Pro/Pro+Pro/Arg vs Arg/Arg,OR=1.22,95%CI:1.08~1.38)和共显性模型(Pro/Arg vs Arg/Arg,OR=1.14,95%CI:1.00~1.29)中均提示Pro72基因型可增加食管癌的易患性。在亚组分析中,Pro72基因型可增加亚洲人食管癌的易患性,而对非洲人及高加索人无明显影响。结论p53 Arg72Pro多态性与食管癌存在一定相关性,Pro72基因型可增加亚洲人食管癌的发病风险。

Objective To explore the association between the p53 Arg72Pro polymorphism and esophageal cancer.Methods Literature retrieval was conducted using CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,Pubmed and OVID databases.A total of 27 literatures related to the p53 Arg72Pro polymorphism and esophageal cancer were included in this study,and a meta-analysis was conducted using STATA 14.0 software.Results The allele model(Pro vs Arg,OR=1.19,95%CI:1.08-1.30),recessive model(Pro/Pro vs Pro/Arg+Arg/Arg,OR=1.29,95%CI:1.11-1.50),dominant model(Pro/Pro+Pro/Arg vs Arg/Arg,OR=1.22,95%CI:1.08-1.38)and co-dominant model(Pro/Arg vs Arg/Arg,OR=1.14,95%CI:1.00-1.29)all suggested that Pro72 genotype could increase the susceptibility of esophageal cancer.In the subgroup analysis,Pro72 genotype increased the risk of esophageal cancer in Asians,but had no significant effect in Africans and Caucasians.Conclusion The Pro72 genotype can increase the risk of esophgeal cancer in Asians.
