《孙膑兵法》作为兵家经典,主要以齐威王、田忌与孙膑对话的形式讲述了孙膑的军事思想。在对待战争的问题上,孙膑不提倡主动发起战争,但又强调要积极备战,在受到侵略时要主动进攻;在作战谋略上,要示敌以弱、攻其不备;在作战的过程中,要讲求天时、地利、人和,其中人和最重要;在对军队的管理上,要选拔优异的将领、士兵并重视对其教化。《孙膑兵法》不仅是孙膑个人及其弟子军事思想的结晶,其中更体现了战国时期各国对待战争问题的基本思路,对今天看待国际战争与分析国际形势有着重要的启发。
