This paper discusses the teaching strategies of Chinese composition based on the cultivation of writing ability.In the teaching of Chinese composition,teachers should actively practice the concept of the new curriculum reform,establish a correct view of students,respect the main position of students,reasonably use the story teaching method,game teaching method and other teaching methods,create appropriate teaching situation,enhance the interest of writing teaching,improve the enthusiasm of students'participation,constantly expand students'language accumulation and improve learning students'Chinese writing ability.
