专名意义问题的语言学分析

A Linguistic Analysis on the Meaning of Proper Names

通过多视角的语言分析,我们也可以证明任何专名都是有意义的。有指称对象的专名的意义由命名的理据、指称功能和描述该专名的摹状词表示的意义3部分构成;没有指称对象的专名的意义由命名的理据、描述该专名的摹状词表示的意义两部分构成。这说明语言哲学中的有些问题可以从语言学的视角进行分析和解答。

Through multi-perspective linguistic analysis,we can prove that proper names are meaningful.The meaning of a proper name with a referent consists of three parts:the motivation of naming,the referential function and the meaning of the description of the proper name;the meaning of a proper name without a referent consists of two parts:the motivation of naming and the mea-ning of the description of the proper name.It shows that some questions in linguistic philosophy can be analyzed and answered from linguistic perspectives.
