As a new“product”in drug market,new psychoactive substances(NPS)pose new challenges to the country’s drug control and prevention due to the characteristics of rapid turnover,variety,personalization and strong concealment.Therefore,we need to correctly understand the connotation of NPS,understand the current situation of NPS at home and abroad under the global view,analyze the causes of its rapid development and abuse,carry out targeted top-level system design,realize law-based,systematic,source-based and comprehensive management in the field of national drug prevention and control so that we can effectively cope with drug control and prevention and achieve positive results in the new field of management.
