摘要
本文认为,由于技术和文化的发展,修辞越来越以文本为中心。在我们的世界中,文本先被创造出来,受众可以被理解为文本产生的效果之一,而受众是否被文本所吸引可能作为衡量文本成功与否的标准之一。文本的策略性创造可作为共同行动和承诺的共同基础,如肯尼思·伯克(Kenneth Burke)所说的"同质"一样,因而成为了构建命运共同体的主要任务。
This paper argues that for reasons of technology and culture,rhetoric is increasingly text centered.In our w orld,texts are created first,and w hether audiences—w hich can then be understood as an effect of texts—are draw n to the texts may be taken as a measure of the text’s success. The strategic creation of a text that can serve as common ground,as consubstantiality( as Kenneth Burke put it) for share action and commitment thus becomes the central task for moving into a shared future.
