Breeding of Restorer Line Shuhui 5183 in Three-line Hybrid Rice

蜀恢5183是利用成恢727作母本与蜀恢498杂交选育的籼型三系杂交水稻恢复系。该恢复系具有综合农艺性状优良、配合力高、易于制种和稻瘟病抗性较强等特点,于2017年通过四川省田间技术鉴定。所配组合内优6183(内香6A/蜀恢5183)和川康优583(川康606A/蜀恢5183)已分别通过四川省审定和重庆市初审。介绍了蜀恢5183的选育体会并对水稻育种目标进行了讨论。

Shuhui 5183,derived from the cross between Chenghui 727 as the female and Shuhui 498,is a restorer line of three-line indica hybrid rice.It is characteristic of good integrated agronomic traits,high combining ability,strong blast resistance and easy production of hybrid seeds.In 2017,the restorer line was technically identified by Sichuan Crop Variety Appraisal Committee.Neiyou 5183(Neixiang 6A/Shuhui 5183)was released for commercial production by Sichuan Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2018 and Chuankangyou 583(Chuankang 606A/Shuhui 5183)was announced for the release to commercial production by Chongqing Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2020.Finally,the experience in breeding of Shuhui 5183 was introduced and the rice breeding objectives were briefly discussed.
