This article analyzes the applicable conditions of conventional construction methods for the reclamation of land from sea,summarizes the characteristics and differences between backfilling and reclamation from the sea,and briefly introduces the construction technology of hydraulic reclamation,acceptance criteria for the reclamation of land from sea,and project management of the reclamation of land from sea,statistically summarizes the influencing factors of the cost ofthe reclamation of land from sea,for reference in future reclamation projects or similar projects,and to gradually improve the technical level of the reclamation of land from sea and reduce land reclamation costs.
