论中小学图书馆的“基础教育价值”和“图书馆职业价值”

On the“Basic Educational Value”and“Professional Value of Library”of Primary and Secondary School Libraries

文章在肯定中小学图书馆在基础教育改革和提高教育教学质量中的重要作用的基础上,结合国际图联《学校图书馆服务指南(第二版)》和教育部《中小学图书馆(室)规程》精神,探讨中小学图书馆服务应同时注重体现作为基础教育教学体系组成部分的基础教育价值和作为学校文献信息中心的图书馆职业价值,从而推动中小学图书馆发展。

Affirming the important role of primary and secondary school libraries in the reform of basic education and enhancing education quality,this article explores the services provided by such school libraries based on the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions(IFLA)’School Library Service Guide(Second Edition)and the Regulations for Libraries in Primary and Secondary Schools issued by the Ministry of Education.Primary and secondary school libraries should put much emphasis to the basic educational value as an integral part of the basic education system and the professional value of library as the schools’documentation and information centers,thereby promoting the development of primary and secondary school libraries.
