The dance drama The Eternal Wave won the Wenhua Award in 2019.It is an outstanding red-themed dance drama,bringing a brand new aesthetic concept.Excellent dance dramas are always accompanied by good original music,and the symphonic music composition method in The Eternal Wave is worthy of attention.This paper analyzes the music composition technique of "core theme"used by the composer,and clarify the penetration of "core theme" composition concept in the dance drama as well as the aesthetic implication to the dance drama.
