A Few Epochal Features of Historical Thinking

历史思维是思维主体从自身历史知识、对历史规律的认知和对历史经验教训的感悟出发,自觉运用历史眼光来分析和解决问题的思维智慧。在新时代,历史思维呈现出几个特征:一是不忘过去、开辟未来的价值取向;二是既见树木、又见森森的全景视野;三是重视精神力量的历史作用;四是自觉捍卫人民群众的历史主体地位;五是坚持历史评价的辩证方法。

Historical thinking is the thinking wisdom that the main body of thinking consciously uses historical vision to analyze and solve problems from its own historical knowledge,cognition of historical law and understanding of historical experience and lessons.In the new era,historical thinking presents several characteristics:First,not forgetting the past but opening up the value orientation of the future;second,seeing panoramic vision of both trees and the wood;third,attaching importance to the historical role of spiritual power;fourth,consciously defending the historical main position of the people;and lastly,adhering to the dialectical method of historical evaluation.
