Constructive News in Major Emergencies:Roles,Practice and Theoretical Innovation——An Academic Interview with Karen McIntyre

新冠肺炎疫情引发了学界对新闻传媒报道在重大突发事件中的角色和功能的思考,这也为建设性新闻的理论建设提供了一次契机。本访谈主要围绕建设性新闻在疫情期间的角色定位、谣言治理、实践模式、理论创新等问题展开。其中,未来研究要从框架理论、社会责任理论、记者角色理论、新制度理论等理论视角切入,进一步推进建设性新闻的学科知识建设,拓宽其理论创新与研究视域。

The COVID-19 has caused academics to think about the role and function of news media reports in major emergencies,which also provides an opportunity for the construction of constructive journalism.The interview mainly focuses on issues such as the role of constructive journalism during the pandemic,rumor management,practical models,and theoretical innovation.For future research,we should strengthen the theoretical perspectives,such as framework theory,social responsibility theory,reporter role theory,and new system theory.We need to improve the construction of disciplinary knowledge of constructive journalism and further broaden its theoretical innovation and research horizons.
