In the process of serving regional economic development,local colleges and universities can provide high-quality talents,technology platforms,core competitiveness and strong spiritual impetus.It restricts and promotes the development of regional economy.Therefore,in order to better promote regional social and economic development,this paper first explains the necessity of local colleges and universities serving the regional social and economic development,and conducts a simple analysis of the current situation of colleges and universities serving the regional social and economic development.Then,in view of the specific problems,it puts forward constructing a new model of local colleges and universities serving the regional social and economic development,aiming to earnestly improve the service capacity of colleges and universities serving the regional social and economic development.
