Pop art is a rebellious art,and the extension of avant-garde art.This article discussed the artistic application of the popular culture theme from the artist′s perspective.The research focused on the design thinking of the conjunction of Pop art and clothing design and described the artistic expression of Pop art and the applied method of Pop art performance in the clothing design.The method could include the combination of strong color contrast,irregular appearance and a bold use of new materials.The conjunction rendered the garments certain to show a style of ease,fun,special and quality.It provides a broader design idea for the product development and injects a stronger design vitality into the innovation of modern clothing design.
