Research Progress on Antibacterial Activity of Lectin

凝集素是具有多价糖结合特性的蛋白质或糖蛋白,广泛存在于动物、植物及微生物中,具有多种生物学功能。其中,凝集素的抗菌活性特别值得关注,研究结果有助于开发新的抗菌剂。针对凝集素的抑菌活性研究现状进行综述,旨在为凝集素类抗菌剂的开发提供一些有益的参考。

Lectins are multivalent carbohydrate-binding proteins/glycoproteins found in plants,bacteria,and animals.Lectins have multiple biological functions.Among them,the antibacterial activity of lectin is particularly worthy of attention.The results could help in the development of new antimicrobials.This paper reviewed the current research status of the antibacterial activities of lectins.This paper aimed to provide some useful references for the development of lectin antimicrobial agents.
