摘要 图像压缩在信息的传输和存储中起着至关重要的作用。这篇文章论述了一般9-7双正交小波滤波器的构造方法,介绍了一个基于9-7双正交小波滤波器的数字视频编解码芯片ADV611的基本结构和原理。给出了用ADV611进行视频图像压缩的实验结果。 Image compression is extremely important for such application as transmission and storage of message. This paper discusse the method for construction of generic 9-7 tap bi-orthogonal wavelet filters. The main characteristic and principle of digital video code chip ADV611 based on 9-7 tap bi-orthogonal wavelet filters were introduced. The test results of compression video image signal using ADV611 were also given. 
