At present,automobile has become an important tool for people to travel.With the popularization of automobile,the number of automobile faults is increasing.In this process,the automobile fault diagnosis technology has also obtained the considerable development,which is the important premise to ensure the driving safety.This paper introduces the current common automobile fault diagnosis technology,including automatic fault code diagnosis technology,expert system,online and offline diagnosis technology,etc.Finally,the development trend of automobile fault diagnosis technology in the future is briefly discussed.
