Taurodontism in deciduous molars:A case report and literature review

牛牙症是一类极具特征性的牙体畸形,具有牙髓腔冠根向膨大、根分叉向根方移位、牙根短小的特征。本文介绍了1例下颌第一乳磨牙牛牙症,并从病因、发病机制、临床诊断分类及治疗等方面进行了文献综述。

Taurodontism is a dental malformation with large pulp chambers,in which the bifurcation or trifurcation is displaced api⁃cally and the chamber has greater apico⁃occlusal height than in normal teeth.In this paper,one case of taurodontism in deciduous molar was reported and relevant literatures were reviewed from the aspects of the possible etiology,pathogenesis,clinical diagnosis,classifi⁃cation and treatment of taurodontism.
