环境类新闻语篇的评价意义研究

A Research on the Appraisal Meaning of Environmental News Reports

以评价理论态度子系统为分析框架,对中国日报20篇环境类新闻报道的评价资源分布特征及其蕴含的评价意义进行了分析。研究发现:中国日报环境类新闻语篇关注全球性气候问题,倡导环境友好和生态保护型行为。新闻报道者使用态度系统评价与隐性评价相结合的方式,通过策略性的评价资源选择,在遵循新闻报道客观性原则的同时传达出积极的生态价值观与保护环境、倡导积极和谐生态观的价值导向。研究还发现,评价理论的次系统有待进一步完善,评价的标准和维度需要更为明晰。

On the basis of the attitude system of the Appraisal Theory,this paper studies the distribution characteristics of appraisal resources of China Daily’s 20 environmental news reports and their appraisal meanings.The study shows that China Daily’s environmental news reports focus on global climate issues and advocate environmentally and ecologically friendly behaviors.By strategically using a combination of explicit and implicit attitude appraisal resources,China Daily’s news reporters advocate the value orientation for environmental protection and ecological harmony while following the principle of objectivity in news reporting.The study also shows that the sub-systems of the Appraisal Theory need to be further improved,and the standards as well as dimensions of appraisal system need to be clearer.
