符号翻译学派视角下的中医经典翻译策略——以《黄帝内经》为例

Strategies for Translating Chinese Medicine Classics from the Perspective of Semiotic Translation School——A Case Study of The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine

为了更准确、专业地翻译我国中医经典,以《黄帝内经》的汉英翻译实例,结合符号翻译学派的基本观点,对中医经典典籍的翻译策略进行探析。译者可针对中医语言符号的表面和深层含义,采用直译或意译等多种翻译方法对语言符号进行处理,并可借助CAT工具以实现中医语言符号的转换和意义的表达。

In order to translate China’s traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) classics accurately and authentically, the translation strategies of TCM classical texts were explored by taking the example of the Chinese-English translation of The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine and combining the basic viewpoints of the semiotic translation school. The translators can use various translation methods such as literal or free translation to deal with the surface and deep referential meanings of the TCM language symbols, and can use CAT tools to realize the transformation and expression of the Chinese medical language symbols.
