高等教育机构与城市吸引力——基于江苏省13个城市的实证研究

Higher Education Institutions and Urban Attraction:An Empirical Study Based on 13 Cities in Jiangsu Province

基于2003年到2017年江苏省及其各市统计年鉴的数据,建立柯布-道格拉斯生产函数,观察江苏省各城市发展对于本地区高等教育机构扩展的影响并分析了城市发展与高等教育之间的交互关系。研究结果表明,高等教育机构的扩展与城市发展的关系越来越密切,但是江苏各地对于吸引高等教育机构的扩展效应各有异同,吸引因素也是不尽相同。苏南城市需注重高新技术企业的发展和实现GDP绿色发展,以此提升高等教育机构的质量。苏中城市应继续发展地方经济以此大力扶植本地现有高等教育机构的发展,增强本地高校的市场竞争力。苏北城市应致力于吸引苏南和苏中高校在苏北建立独立院校以及新建民办高职院校。

Based on the statistical yearbook data of Jiangsu Province and its 13 cities from 2003 to 2017,Cobb-Douglas production function is established,the influence of the development of cities in Jiangsu Province on the expansion of local higher education institutions is observed,and the interaction between urban development and higher education is analyzed.The empirical results reveal that the establishment and expansion of higher education institutions has closer relations to city development,but there are differences and similarities in expansion effect attracting higher education institutions in different parts of Jiangsu,and the attracting factors are also different.Cities in southern Jiangsu should pay attention to the development of high-tech enterprises and realize the green development of GDP,so as to improve the quality of higher education institutions.Central Jiangsu should continue to develop local economy so as to foster the development of local existing higher education institutions and increase the market competitiveness of local universities.Cities in northern Jiangsu should devote themselves to attracting universities in southern and central Jiangsu to establish independent colleges and build new private higher vocational colleges.
