Engels’Research on the Overall Structure of Das Kapital and Volume Four

恩格斯在筑就《资本论》丰碑上的卓越贡献,显著地表现在编辑出版《资本论》第二卷和第三卷上,同时也突出地体现在对《资本论》整体结构和《资本论》第四卷研究上。恩格斯从马克思政治经济学体系整体上,对《资本论》从理论逻辑到历史逻辑序列结构的方法论和思想特征作出系统论述;以马克思对《资本论》"三卷四册结构"理解和探索为基础,最后确定《资本论》"四卷结构";在对马克思经济学手稿深入而持续的研究中,对《资本论》第四卷编辑方法和基本设想作出深刻阐释。

Engels’outstanding contribution to Das Kapital is notably reflected in the editing and publishing of Volumes 2 and 3 of Das Kapital,as well as in the study of the overall structure of Das Kapital and its fourth volume.Engels systematically discussed the methodology and ideological characteristics of Das Kapital from the theoretical logic to the historical logic sequence structure from the Marxist political economic system.Based on Marx’s understanding and exploration of the"three-volume and four-book structure"of Das Kapital,he finally determined the"four-volume structure"of Das Kapital.At the same time,in the in-depth and continuous research on Marx’s economics manuscripts,he made a profound explanation of the editing methods and basic assumptions of the fourth volume of Das Kapital.
