In order to guarantee the safe operation of urban bridge,several bridge detection methods are introduced mainly including the bridge disease inspection,bridge member recheck and size measurement,geometrical morphology parameter measure,structural nondestructive testing,superstructure bearing capacity calculation and load test.Several main detection methods are explained by the examples.The bridge detection process is set forth from the detection contents,detection modes and detection results,which provide the reference for the standardization of risk source identification,evaluation,management and control,and detection and maintenance in the operation period of bridge.
