新罗“事大外交”的思想与实践

新罗的“事大外交”,源自春秋战国以来的“以小事大”思想。新罗与唐五代外交史上,除个别时期外,始终践行事大外交的理念:新罗频密朝贡唐朝,并求取册封官爵,唐罗两国由此凝成君臣关系。新罗朝贡冠绝海东,奉正朔,去尊号,入蜀地,朝后唐,对唐极尽忠诚,无愧为事大楷模。“事大外交”为新罗带来丰厚的国家利益,对于中国与周边世界秩序的构建具有典范意义,已成为东亚共享的历史遗产。

Silla's Tribute Diplomacy,named“Flunkeyism Diplomacy”,originated from the thought of“flunkeyism”in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.In the diplomatic history of Silla between Tang and Five Dynasties,except for a few periods,they always practiced the idea of“Flunkeyism Diplomacy”:Silla paid tribute to Tang Dynasty and sought to confer the titles of officials and princes,thus forming a relationship between monarchs and ministers.Silla's tribute crown is the best in the east of the sea.They used the reign title of the Chinese emperor and abandoned their king's posthumous title.Envoys of Silla paid homage to Emperor Xuanzong when they entered Sichuan.They also paid tribute to the emperors of the later Tang Dynasty.Silla is extremely loyal to Tang Dynasty,and it is worthy of being a model of flunkeyism.The“Flunkeyism Diplomacy”is in line with the interests of Silla.Silla s“Flunkeyism Diplomacy”is a model for the Chinese world and has become a historical heritage of East Asia.
