We research the innovation of student management work of colleges and universities under new media background.New media has brought opportunities and challenges to student management of colleges and universities.Colleges and universities should innovate management concept,establish network communication platform,strengthen student management team construction,build four levels of linkages management system,and enrich student management work content,in order to open up new situation of student management work,and to improve management level.
