Situation and Problems of Hungarian Terminology during the First Decade of the 21th Century

匈牙利术语学研究史可以追溯到几个世纪以前,但因其文献主要采用匈牙利语,故而鲜为人知。20世纪末和21世纪初,匈牙利语作为一门小语种,它的术语学实践和理论深受国际政治经济环境的影响。匈牙利语言学家和术语学家阿戈陶的文章介绍了近20年来,处于时代变革中的匈牙利术语学理论和实践状况,并对匈牙利术语学的未来提出了展望。

Hungary is a traditional country with a long history and independent language.Terminology research and practical activities in Hungary can trace back into the 18th century and much earlier.However,due to all terminology documents are written in Hungarian,few people in the world could be informed of the Hungarian terminology in the past.This article aims to shed a light on the situation and problems of Hungarian terminology during the first decade of the 21th century on the basis of translation and edition of Mrs.FórisÁgota's paper for the“Terminology and Society”conference.
