当前我国社会飞速发展,经济水平快速提升,同时暴露出的是生态环境的严重破坏和环境污染的急剧加重,环境保护成为社会普遍关注的重要课题。为适应新形势的紧迫需要,新修订的《环境保护法》对推动环境保护工作,解决影响民生改善的突出环境问题,满足人民群众对良好环境的迫切期待,化解经济发展和环境保护的矛盾,维护社会稳定,具有深刻的现实作用。

At present,China’s society is developing rapidly,and its economic level is rapidly increasing.At the same time,it is exposed to the serious destruction of the ecological environment and the aggravation of environmental pollution.Environmental protection has become an important topic of general concern to society.In order to meet the urgent needs of the new situation,the newly revised"Environmental Protection Law"promotes environmental protection,solves outstanding environmental problems that affect the improvement of people’s livelihood,meets the urgent expectations of the people for a good environment,and resolves the contradictions between economic development and environmental protection.Maintaining social stability has a profound practical effect.
