Tracing"Red Context"of Weishan

“西边的太阳快要落山了,微山湖上静悄悄……”一首《弹起我心爱的土琵琶》脍炙人口,诠释了乐观、奋进的革命精神,更将人们拉回到那段红色记忆中。每年都会有很多人驱车乘船来到微山县这片红色圣地,缅怀心中崇仰的革命英雄。

After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War,the CPC opened up two Anti-Japanese guerrilla bases in the north and south o f the Weishan Lake,established the CPC Peitengbian County Committee and the CPC Hudong County Committee respectively,and built up some anti-Japanese arm ed forces,including the Southern Shandong Railway Brigade(i.e.Railway G uerrillas),the Canal Detachment,the Tengpei Brigade,and the Weihu Brigade.These armed forces created many moving stories,and made immortal contributions to the victory of China’s Anti-Japanese War.
