乡村振兴,人才振兴是关键。城镇化进程的加速,造成乡村人才大量流失,导致乡村振兴人才奇缺。新乡贤心怀故土,凭借自身优势,在乡村振兴中成为一支不可替代的力量,也成为了新时代基层统战的重要对象。新乡贤统战是基层统战的新主题和新内容,正处于起始阶段,在实践中取得了初步的成效,但也存在统战对象被窄化、统战发展不均衡、统战工作缺乏制度化、新乡贤与普通村民话语权之争等问题。新时代应从加强党的领导、加强新乡贤组织建设、加强新乡贤制度建设、加强新乡贤文化建设四个方面进行创新,以解决新乡贤统战工作的现实困境。
